^^^ Nice read there... I'm still going but got hung up on 3D printing, had to look that one up... Had no idea we were doing this! Neat! Think replicator in Star Trek!

That rant about the difference between Steam and Origin/Game for Windows Lies/uPlay/whatever else...
This is an article on something that Valve CEO, Gabe Newell said. http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news...ervice-Problem

I don't mean to be a turd in the punchbowl, but... Is this a possible conflict of interest?
http://judiciary.house.gov/issues/Ro...Supporters.pdf 3 SOPA supporters come from Sony music.... so does Sony as a whole support SOPA? |

NDAA is screwed up and it's hilarious that it's gotten as far as it has (I use it as a big selling argument point when trying to get people to wake up about current politics and then I try to get them to write to they congress/senators to get Ron Paul into office [usually works]).
This thread is about SOPA tho and I honestly haven't been trying to keep up on it like I should. Anything important crop up on the issue? Last edited by Kran De Loy; 2012-01-16 at 10:10 AM. |

After talking to my Grandpa about it he pretty much told me not to get into too much of a huff. As long as the Supreme Court isn't full of shit then anything that gets to them gets the ban hammer, but as long as it's in Congress they can still make changes to it and pass it in some form or another.
He made a good point. So watching how the Supreme Court handles NDAA should be a fair indication on how they'll likely handle any other insane stuff like SOPA or Protect IP. Last edited by Kran De Loy; 2012-01-17 at 09:49 AM. |

Google has a petition that everyone should be signing:
https://www.google.com/landing/takeaction/ Also be sure to call your senators and let them know that you will NOT stand for them supporting censorship of the internet! |
