we need folks for tonight, we don't want to copy last night with a 3 way stream, we want to go for the 4 way, we just need streamers to take part. Please PM me or contact me on TeamStarz.net
@ Sighpolice Your more than welcome to take part, if you can stream even better @ Hamma Cheers for the feedback and help with getting over the voice and screen thing, I thought well just go for it, what is there to loose. |

I definitely got the processing power for it, but I do not have the upload capacity for it. I can't upload more than 30-40kb/s without my connection going bonkers on me. |

Again, I know nothing of your settings I'm just stating what kind of settings I used when I streamed. I don't remember the exact numbers of everything, but I got a pretty good sense of things anyways. The screencapture program I used was just the standard 'VHCapture' if I recall correctly. Screen capture resolution I used was 1280x720 I believe, a framerate of 28-30ish, bitrate of about 5000-6000kbps. You basically want this as high as possible, without melting a hole through your computer of course. Encoder was of course 'Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder'. Naturally I used the same settings as in VHCapture as my input settings in the encoder, in other words 30fps and 1280x720. The output settings I used was something about 1100-1200kbps and around 720ish output resolution. (These are all settings you want to play around with as much as possible) Also, if you really want to max out the performance while streaming I'd suggest dedicate and split processors individually to each program. (e.g Task Manager > Processes > Set Affinity. I would use something like 0-1 for Game, 2-3 for VHCapture and 4-7 for the encoder or something similar.) Often it'll feel quite daunting, but if you've got the muscle and connection for it you will be able to have it looking very good. Last edited by Lorgarn; 2012-01-11 at 02:02 PM. |
