Actually were were established as a nation in 1867.

But everything above U.S. was owned by Britain. We were apart of the Britain colonial empire.

It wasn't rebuilt until 1815 though, why wait 3 years?

Other than that, the West wing was added in 1901, and the Presidents office being remodeled into the Oval Office in 1909.

The only time the place was completely rebuilt after that was during 1948-52 when it was deemed "structuarly unsound".

Now I'm no historian, I know fuck all about history, but most of the events I have found from US sources seem to be extremely biased towards the US, and this -

Yeah, they torched the White House, but the war as a whole was a stalemate.

Vietnam we lost.

Korea was a stalemate.
