Forum search isn't working and since there isn't a "Ask random questions" thread, here is my question:

I know the game is Free to Play which is great (though i'd gladly give them what ever they wanted to play), however do you still have to buy the game?

Similar to GW where you buy the game then play it for free online etc.

Now if i overlooked this being answered, my apologies.

For future reference, games with a one time purchase cost such as Guild Wars or other multiplayer (or single player) games are referred to as B2P (Buy to Play). It just isn't as popular of a term, since the majority of games have traditionally used this model, so the only real use for the term is to distinguish that payment model from Free 2 Play or Pay 2 Play.

They're not going in, the models weren't made with that in mind so it would delay the release to ad 'em.

Is it really such a big deal? I get the appeal for aesthetics, but there are a lot more important things than vehicle animations.

Some people don't like change.

Now I've read a lot of the information on this thread and elsewhere and forgive me if this was already mentioned or generally just seems like a silly question.

As I understand it, there will be 6000 players per server. Right?

I'm just wondering how often I'm going to have to choose to play on a different server because the one I first played on a lot has become constantly full after a while.

Maybe I'm over thinking this and they will always be some room for me when I log on. I'd rather struggle to get on but then have amazingly huge battles as opposed to always being able to get on but having far less people in every faction. That said I'm sure the scale will impress me even if it's less than half the full amount of people on a server.

So I guess my main question is, how likely do people think I'll struggle to get on a popular server?

I imagine unless SOE amazes us there's gonna be some server queues when the game launches.

When companies like Blizzard who know how many units they sold can't have adequate servers... But who knows, maybe they'll launch with enough servers per zone to keep the players spread out and low queue'd.
