Concidering the article from 1999 about Planetside.

I HIGHLY doubt there is any relation between Halo and Planetside.

Get over it. They're hardly even similar, it's just what most people have to relate to. I think I see Masterchief when I go past the x-games on TV.

I don't like when people get into the originality debate, especially in the entertainment industry.

Now let's never talk of Halo ever again because this is the Planetside forums.

Next we'll have to never bring up DOOM, because there were certainly no games inspired by that.

Then we can talk about how unoriginal DOOM was because Wolfenstein 3D did it first.

I wish people didn't get so uptight at some of the references to other games. Planetside 2 isn't going to be a Battlefield clone just because the devs drop the name every five seconds.
