This question also depends on how many factions you are allowed to play per server; if its one per server then ill be playing on 3 servers but concentrating on one which will be VS.

"one character per account per server" however, you can have multiple accounts with single characters on one server across multiple factions freely and its effectively unregulated.

Wow honestly I'm surprised. Everyone always said that the NC was the noob faction with the easiest weapons, and I always thought NC had the higher population fraction on average. Plus the whole "rebels" thing really resonates with a lot of the gaming target population. But yeah, TR FOR LIFE!

I found the TR weaponry to be the most "noobish".
The high rate of fire and large magazine sizes tend to make their guns more forgiving when it comes to spray-and-pray (which is the definition of noobish in shooters).

I am a fan of the NC philosophy of power per shot being more important than everything else. However, if you miss a few times, you're going to be stuck reloading well before your opponent...
