You know, I wouldn't hate this. Provided that it's some sort of module that could be slotted into the engine without a great deal of trouble it would be kind of fun.
More importantly though it seems like it could be used as an incredibly cheap, available version of the TrackIR software, and I'd love to see that become a standardised thing. Hands free free-look for all! Plus it would give me another excuse to get a web cam and start pestering Hamma to let me onto the community chat again. |

To me this is what really sells it... as long as it doesn't clog up my internets. Soon we'll see how light the game is on our broadbands without it, then we can (hopefully) stop worrying about that. |

SOEmote in PS2. Interesting. Makes sense to put it in too because I know they want it in EQ Next.
Some say it will affect bandwidth. Ya, if you're on dial up. But don't plan on playing the game that well/at all, with or without SOEmote, if you're using dial up.... You should be more concerned with frame rates which are affected by your CPU and graphics card. |
