I am waiting for alot of moaning from vets and beta key holders that they diden't get into the 1st wave of beta invites.

I think alot of people are expecting them to lets all the key holders in at the same time, which is something they won't be doing.

They said "in little over a week", and it was said late that week, which pretty much automatically means it would not actually be the next week, but the week after that.

I never for a second expected the beta to start this week and thats what the twitter pic is about. There is no delay, they are on the schedule they "promised" back then.

Its just getting to the point of stupidity, don't even give us a time frame if every time frame is getting pushed back. At e3 it was a couple of weeks, 6 weeks later it was within a month.

So I managed to get in a retweet in the first 100 for a beta key for the first time. I've been checking twitter franatically.
And now, he can't even send the flipping key!!!!!!!!!!

ARGH.

I love him still, I'm sure it's just a test to check your loyalty....................

Don't worry - Higby is cool and reliable. I'm sure he will go back and send the keys to the original winners after his DM limit is clear again. It was twitter that messed up this one, not (post)epichair-Higby

You are wrong. Any information is good, even if it will quickly become outdated and wrong.

I love that they are giving us frequent updates on the state of things. So you be quiet and don't ruin things for the rest of us.

I just hope they keep a constant stream of invites after Beta starts.

My biggest fear is they'll do a big batch of invites, and then say "Uh, no more invites till we get another continent implemented. But, we'll have it done SOON"

I'm pretty sure the Beta will run with the free pass transferences like in SC2, Tribes and many other closed Beta tests.
Players who has not received/sent it yet will receive a free pass to give to a friend. And maybe the next week this friend will receive the same free pass (one or more) etc. And at the end everybody will be in right before the open beta.

Not really it just ruins their creditably and anything that is said should be taken with a grain of salt. Its more of a concern that will fall in bad trend of delays. I just hope they are much better when it comes out. Don't be dice and take 6 months to patch a game.
