Here they say that Smed answered on question over twitter if SOE will start the PS2 Beta before August 2012 with a loud and clear "YES"...

I don't know how long this tradition has been going on, but I'm pretty sure for at least some decades:

In Sumo (Japan's national sport) when a high-ranking wrestler retires, they hold a televised ceremony called a danpatsu-shiki in which the wrestler has his long hair cut - symbolically ending his career.

The only attendence numbers I could find was from a 2nd to top ranking wrestler (Tochiazuma) who's ceremony had 10,000 attendents (source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tochiazuma_Daisuke). Other higher ranking and more popular wrestlers most certainly had higher numbers in attendance.

I doubt that Floyds can seat that many customers
