Forgive me for bumping this from the bottom of the lounge, but I just wanted to get a word in.

This whole thing is a joke. People see one kid get banned for a bunch of crazy shit and they immediately assume the forum has turned into a modern day Nazi Germany. "OMG FIGHT TEH POW3R LET'S ALL LEAVE CUZ A GUY GOT BANND!!!" I swear some of these people just like to soak up attention, and it's pretty pitiful. So good riddance from me. I won't miss you.

I really don't see any problem with moderation. Hell I hardly ever notice them doing anything (a good thing). If you think this moderation is overly protective or smothering you, then you need a reality check. And I'm seriously tired of hearing about all the BOHICA as well as any other type of elitism. If you like it better over there, leave, but don't slander this forum because it doesn't satisfy your particular needs.

As for the people asking for bans, I agree with Squeeky. Come on guys exercise some self control. Yeah the internet can be addicting and it can sometimes be hard to not procrastinate when you can enjoy yourself instead. But seriously, there's no reason to ask for a ban. Just hold yourself back a little bit.

After going back and reading all the posts that led to the bans, I'd like to know what exactly happened on IRC that everyone got so pissed about. If someone could explain it to me without opening the wound and pouring salt in it, I'd appreciate it.

Also I don't get why everyone is freaking out about any of this, but especially red. It's not like he's been active in the past year, so why does anyone give a shit?

Dhark joined IRC for the first time since his banning from PSU and Hamma banned him, which requires the person being banned to be on IRC. People flipped out, but its odd they didn't months ago.

Dhark had been banned all along, he left IRC under his own free will after he was removed so I never banned him I dont think, either that or his mask changed.

Either way, he has been banned all along so I have no idea what the issue was.
