If SWTOR taught us anything it's that you can overhype your game through marketing techniques (Trailers etc.) and make enough money to profit before people start abandoning ship.

Now we combine strong marketing with a really good game and see what happens

Hydra, I don't think anyone is really trying to argue in a negative sense, we're just discussing the trailer. I've seen a lot of great points from both sides actually

We're all passionate about the game and we're all just wanting to discuss that which we love

Good point about SWTOR Graywolves, what a bad experience that was =/ I couldn't agree more with your statement.

We've already seen how they do gameplay trailers and we already have tons of gameplay footage. This trailer is meant to reach out further to people who have never heard of the game and I think that it's a great idea. If cinematic trailers didn't work to bring more people in they wouldn't exist.

Seriously though, I've looked around and consensus is Blur did it. Can't find an actual confirmation though.

It's almost gunna hit half a million views, and that's just the preview. I think it is working rather well. I mean, it's awesome looking, and pretty much accurate on battle scale, so why wouldn't it bring the peeps in?

Oh, and yeah, "Size Does Matter" is a really dumb tagline and I'm going to hope most gamers aren't tiny babies and therefore don't find obvious innuendos like that funny or whatever. Having a really cool looking, serious trailer with the tagline a 15-year-old came up with is pretty jarring.

There's no better way to say "Hey, those other FPS games you're playing can't even touch this FPS gameplay". What do you want them to say?

That's just 5 minutes of thinking. I'm honestly disappointed beyond belief when I consider that there was probably a meeting for this and they chose something that no one can take seriously. It legitimately kills my hype after every trailer I see.

You folks have seen hours and hours of gameplay so there really isn't too much new and shiny to reveal. To the general public though, I still regularly hear "Why aren't you guys advertising more?" This is us advertising more.
