The reason he hasnt done HD before was cos he wanted people with lame connections to be able to watch the stream

I can only watch up to 480p on youtube without buffering.

If/when PS247 goes partners on twitch, the viewer can select the quality. Overall though I wouldnt cater to people who have connections from stoneage, such as me

I'm by far a minority in the gaming world with my 1mbit connection

Definitely, I personally consider myself a user of a connection from the stoneage. (lol) I have 8mbit/0,5mbit ADSL (on the paper) right now, which is exactly whats been around in this area for the last 8-9, or so, years.

Yet, I can still watch in HD, full 1080p at streams and whatnot. I definitely consider myself a part of the minority.

Indeed, they certainly are. Even more so if you look at it from your own point of view as a non-celebrity regular kind-of-guy(That came out wrong, I'm talking of myself mainly. Lol). However, if you look at the broader picture it gets quite clear that its far from impossible.

I've seen smaller games/subjects/contents, with seemingly less potential having huge numbers of viewers. As long as you have a regular flow of good quality content the viewers will come. Even more so when you're covering a popular game.

What almost every large streaming personalities whether it's youtube, twitch or any other kind of media agrees on is the importance of regularity. Having a regular stream of good quality content is, according to many, hugely important.

Morto, I have no idea what you have planned but I can tell you what I think I would like to see personally from a player-to-be point of view besides the regular stream of content:

Some sort of show, either on daily or weekly basis, where you could cover recent events in the battlefield. For instance, up- or down-risings of clans, interesting thoughts and opinions on overall gameplay, strategic analysis, etc. (This often requires a bit of work and planning though, but can obviously be a lot of fun as well)

Lets put it this way:

You have never seen a game like Planetside2 before (only Planetside).

So you will have never seen a channel like 247 before, this is a fact, if my plans go accordingly, then you will have a very very very unique gaming experience like nothing you have seen before.

Dont let any of the content I have released so far be a gauge of what plans we at 247 have.

We may also break a world record or 2, don't believe me, well this will be more than possible with Planetside 2.

Watch this space folks, I am doing my best here to make something good for all PS2/any gamers to enjoy.

Dont get me wrong im not saying I can do it, or it will work, but I have a target and im aiming for it and going full throttle!
