This thread has disappointed me. Coverage is coverage guys - be happy PlanetSide 2 is getting the coverage it deserves this time around and quit with the personal attacks and foolishness.

This community is better than that and it's time some of you started acting like it.

I am kinda suprised by the TB bashing o.o I have been watching his videos for a good 8 months now, hes in my list of various gaming related channels. He's not oppressive as far as I can tell, but hes NOT a reviewer. His channel is his own personal opinions on games, but he does try to be fair. As for:

But I think he's a great person to offer coverage of PS2, especially cause he is part of TGS (The Game Station) which is a gaming channel group similar to Machinma, just less.....garbage randomness. Cause hes on that, many people from lots of different channels view him. That's potentially a few million people seeing his coverage.

I will be completely honest, in the last few months the amount of bickering and name calling on this forum seems to have escalated. That is a damn shame too, as the Planetside community has almost always been a fairly good one; hell we couldn't afford not to be with our beloved game basically ignored for almost 8 years.

It's time to get over the petty arguments and personal issues, you can swallow your pride for one second guys and just agree to disagree. Who really wants the kind of hate and outright bashing of others to be seen as the norm in this community? Frankly, I dont.

As to the announcement, it is good to see Planetside2 getting all the marketing and hype that Planetside didn't get. Here's hoping it pays off and this time around the Sony suits realize what potential this game has to not only push the MMOFPS genre forward but also to make SoE the main force in the MMO business.

While its great to hear this news. And i feel TB is an upstanding guy ( Played PS1 with him, that's why his opinion means more than some on this forum ) and he is possibly the best spokesmen for this title. I want to comment on that video.

That Galaxy was auto-repairing in mid air ( 00:30 ). Also, the popping in/out annoys me to no end and looks cheap.

This is pretty amazing news. Live streaming of a 100+ person Planetside 2 battle at E3. A major stepping stone in terms of the game's progression. This is the start of what we've all been waiting many, many years for.

The Planetside community and these forums are about to explode with new users. We complain about "COD kids" and how their actions are sub par. Let us not encourage that behavior by participating in the same kind of activity which we all despise. We, the veterans of the community, are the ones that set the expectation. We set the example of what is acceptable and what is not.

Awesome. Having TB covering PS2 so closely can only be a good thing for the game.

If the developers listen to bad ideas, it doesn't matter where they come from. I'm sure TB will have a few, I'm sure that PSU will offer a few, but none of it matters as long as the developers do a good job filtering out what works from what doesn't. Having TB as yet another way that the developers can stay in touch with the interest of the fans is going to be awesome, and the extended coverage that TB will give to the game will help ensure that it's as huge of a success as we all hope.

Loving the animations on the Galaxy. I like how articulated the models can get now. Can't wait to see more footage.
