Hey quick question, banter on /c on PS1 at th emoment,

If I have put a key in, i will be able to play beta as it begins right?

How about those people that are active subs but havent recieved an invite to beta?

They are telling me they instantly have ps2 beta accounts activated regardless of if theyve put a beta key in or not, but I thought it made them high priority as opposed to instant activation to receive an invite during the "waves".

Who is right/wrong?

Active PS1 players are first, followed by old PS1 players, followed by anyone with a beta key, followed by website signups. Everyone has to go through waves and be selected. The only people given instant access are people in the tech test.

Any idea if they are activating ahead of time to stagger downloads? In closed beta you usually don't go full bore on stressing login/download servers til just before Open so I figure they will release download links the day prior at least.

I just want to see the first wave go out so I am that much closer, It's good to hear that Smed says less than a month. I wish my blasted old account was retrievable because i wouldn't have to wait til PcGamer keys get activated mine was a day 1 copy

Would be nice if we could all download the client early but right now you need access before you can even get to the download so who knows.

He's referring to Priority Key invites, which definitely won't be happening in two days.

This. Maybe in a week, but that's a best case scenario, as in, not nearly as many vets signed up for beta as we thought and that is entirely within the realm of possibility.

the fact that they have not sent out any emails, nor have they allowed us to download the game, and that my account membership still says PlanetSide 2 Account : INACTIVE is starting to make me worry.

(PS1 vet since 2006 payed every month since then)

I would not be surprised if they were trying to work through a few more critical performance-type issues in the tech test, before opening up the beta... thus causing a bit of a delay.

Little question, do we have to active our beta from the computer we will be using or does it not matter which computer you activate your code from?
