The one thing that bugged me, was when it panned behind the tanks, and you could see the terrain, it looked like that entire massive area was just tiled with the same texture for miles. It didn't seem varied enough for the massive area it covered. Like, if it wasn't for the lighting allowing you to see depth, it would look like one solid chunk of land with a horizon behind it.

This! BF3 graphics are really really crap compared to this. In bf3 there are so many fake unecessary effects which they use to hide the crappy textures, as a 3d artist im actually amazed about the awful texturing in BF3, so many repetitive tiled textures makes you wonder what kind of amatours working at dice. The awful lens flare and colour grading makes you vomit. Frostbite 2 is just a hyped up engine, nothing special. Cryengine is far more advanced then that not to mention Forgelight. This gameplay video shows exactly what the current PC hardware can render. massive scale, very good lightning, it feels good to look at it, because its natural, photorealistic.

the game has to be sold in a box or soe will get sued a lot! why? the game HAS TO BE shipped with a trombosis dissolving agent or a lot of gamers will die days after they installed the game and never leave their seat again! have you noticed the base that seems to be built into the canyonwalls? i love how the bases are real fps levels now, instead of that very simple design they had in ps1. this canyonwall base reminds me a little of the ps1 caves in the way that the z axis is involved and not everything is on the same level more or less. |

IMO, really dark can be really good. Creates an entirely different atmosphere compared to other games, you get this paranoia about what is trying to ambush you, not to mention you ambushing others.
It brings so many tactical options if done well, that could be a really fun thing. Imagine if a base is hard to approach by day and a stalemate goes on for ages, then under the cover of nightfall, you make a flanking maneuvre on a far wall and surprise the enemy within. Could be great for organized teamplay. |

and it needs a static subtitle like "ALL FOOTAGE TAKEN DIRECTLY FROM THE GAME ENGINE; NO CUTSCENES!" and higby, please please please make clear in the next video, that everything happening on the screen is playercontrolled! go check youtube or gamingsites for ps2 videos and the comments! there are actual comments of idiots who still think this is just another halo clone! they don´t get the difference if you don´t shout it to their faces! NO SCRIPTED PVE MOVIE ACTION, everything is interactive real action with real players. no other game has this! no halo no bf3 and especially no call of duty! |

When panning behind the tanks, the projectiles flying by, look like they're propelled by spray-foam. Its soooo thick XD.
