Yeah, Kodomo no Omocha (translates to child's toy) is a pretty..odd series. The mother always has a really weird hairstyle with a chipmunk living in it. I don't have many of the episodes but I do have 4 of the however many there are mangas.

Yea, even I didnt come into this thread and I hate anime, if there is a thread dedicated to something you dont like just dont read it, I find it works out pretty well.

the manga is good, the animated series follows it pretty closely (as most do..eh..yea)

I picked them all up at anime expo 2003 as reading material for when my sister went to those weird shops that sell ..weird stuff....

Some place called "the giant robot store" or something..she spent 3 hours in there, all the while I sat in the car and read kodomo no omocha manga

Aye i look back on dbz and say "WTF they coulda done this a hella lot better" But i was semi into it at the time, keep thinking it would get better, so with my lack of creativity i just picked gohan for a name...wish i didnt now, there aint no way im changing all of this crap and of course my high level planetside char so

As far as anime with a plot that meanders everywhere, check out Irresponsible Captain Tylor. Absolutely hilarious, easy to follow, and just campy enough to be tolerable. It doesn't take itself even vaguely seriously and that's half the fun.

* Mangas (which are great and complete the true story)
* 1 OVA consisting of 4 episodes showing RK's past (a prequel)
* The series, 95 episodes long but the ending is not as it was in the manga

So like I said......the ending of Kenshin must be remade.....and there is 15 years between the series and the ending OVA so many mroe space for story

this is why ppl write fanfiction, ive been trying to re-write eva w/ shinji as a badass not as the sissy he is in the series, shouldnt question anno's work but i think it would be cooler to have the main character as a badass

Try Akira, never seen ANYONE hate that, not even people who dont like anime. there are thos who wont try but this is considered good by steven spielburg, and quite a few american critics who dont watch anime.
