Everyone pretending that they're not in the beta when everyone knows that they are. It will be quite interesting.

My take on this, when beta starts - it will all happen quick (i.e. the waves).

Or, the servers are so b0rked they can't handle any more people until they fix something. Or they are too busy and cba DMing keys (twitter sucks anyway).

So could mean anything and nothing.

I like to read it as, 'the beta is immanent, so we're not adding any more people to it yet,' but that's just me being hopeful.

Well, they have no reason to add players I'd figure. They were already set on starting beta, thus they were done with the tech test itself. Now however some problems came up that they need some days to fix, that doesnt mean that theres any use for new testers.

That's what happened in PS1 beta (worse in the fact the 1/2 of us were on dial up) and SOE first attempt at mega beta was with Everquest...we had the server locked within 5 min of the open time. I expect they have learned there 'lessons' by now

i was just reading higby's tweets and he finally realized those 100 beta key blasts were getting snatched up by bots. Took him this long to see that 100 retweets within 45 secs of his post had to been a few bots.

His bot trap caught a total of 9 bots. Guess it wasn't that prevalent after all.

That or the bots are too smart to be tricked that easily~
