Where did you see that priority keys would start to get in from 2-4 weeks? My reading of it was that everyone who has a PC gamer and Twitter key holders would get in within 2-3 weeks (assuming everything goes well).

Did I read it wrong?

Somebody can verify that it is still possible to get in via PS1 subscription? I am already a PS1 Vet, but i had no active Subscription for ages.

Ah, I see. I had been taking my info off of this quote:

"Q: How long do you think it will take (if everything goes as planned) for everyone who has twitter/PC gamer keys to get in the beta?
A maybe as long as 2-3 weeks but it depends on how smoothly things go"

I had hoped they would at least start drip-feeding in some priority keys in with the vets from the start. 2-3 weeks is going to seem like an eternity!

They're not doing pre-downloads. When you get your invite email, you can start downloading.

I saw him say both 2-3 weeks and 2-4 weeks. I just used the longest time frame.

But the "maybe sooner" is what I am going to cling to.

Edit 2: I wonder when the "2-3/4 weeks" thing starts? Will it be the week after this Monday? On the 13th? Because the first week is from 6-12, so the second week starts 13-19? Or will it begin on the 20th?

I'm terrible at this kind of thing.

The 2-4 weeks was for people that signed up on the planetside2.com site without a Beta key from pc/twitter etc. 2-3 weeks is for people who have beta keys , I think. May be wrong though.

As am I mate, 2-3 weeks sounds so long! I hope it will be 1-2 weeks. I know it's wishful

The team clearly wants to just rush into open beta if only their systems could handle the sudden surge of people. Instead, it's closed, with lots of invites. As in, daily invites, if even that long. I doubt the waves will be all that small either.

Sure seems that way.

I'd tweeted them one point about all the Beta keys hand outs. Was told it was because they wanted as many people as they could fit in.

Anyone ask them if when you submitted your key makes the difference in your wave position? It's kind of unnerving seeing so many "priority" keys getting released when you put yours in many months ago.

Yeah I know I am being whiny but it does make you feel foolish when you go to hunt down and purchase something months in advance only for someone who retweets a SOE rep to have a chance in getting ahead of you and they only got their key a few days before the start
