Will they reset the servers after stress test?

silly question but, it might be good of them just to let everyone keep their EP's from the stress test along with base control...that way there will be some ppl with command skills, better hacking certs and vehicles instead of starting the server over where everone has squat.
This way there will already be a war over continents going before the game is gold so ppl who get in the game get the feel that there is realy a war going on. People who got the game right away but didnt follow it might get the wronge impression from the game in the first few week when there arent any galexies tanks max's or snipers running around for them to gawk at.
Unless there was some bugs exploited i dont see the harm in this. Its not like its unfair because everyone will have an opertunity to get into the stress test right?

dont know ,dont think it matters either way im not playing it untill the official release shows up in the stores and I know what to expect so wether thge war is already raging or it just starts up im sure ill enjoy it

Im gonna say yes. Through the course they'll do several p-wipes anyways. P-wipes = player wipes BTW.

I would think theyd like to start everyone off equal, and I think they'll wipe the servers clean, to be honest.

If ANYONE has played the game before release, and played after release, the game will be inequal. Whether they p-wipe or not, some players will know exactly what to do to get that nifty mosquito while others will spend hours in the VR testing all the things they have been awaiting for months. It will kick off very fast no matter how they play this issue.

Actually, I'm pretty sure that not just anyone can get into the stress test and that they are starting everything from scratch as far as player accounts go on release day. I wouldn't want to be going up against a level 12 max while I'm learning the controls....

The servers will all be reset to virgin condition after the External Beta is concluded. That includes character records.

heh ok thanx SJ. I aprechaite the responce, im sure it wont be an issue anyway...theres always the 24 hour players who will prolly get high certs within the night of release anyway :-p

Maybe you could clear something else up tho...do u think thre will be full server sweeps? Im sure you would try to avoid that. Or perhaps just a sweep of the region and not the players, like if an empire gets too overwhelming or u add a new continent/artifact/ outpost whateva.
