It's not like you can pre-order it from Joe's VHS Shop. It's Amazon and Gamestop. Pretty reputable companies, so I would say the risk here is nil.

Bags I wouldn't preorder just yet. You never know if Amazon or Steam may have a promotion going with their preorder. Be it a credit at Amazon or 10% off at steam.

I just don't want my hopes to get up super high to be crushed... but spending 50 dollars on it made me feel better... So now I will just wait as I have for the past couple years, with the assurance I paid 50 dollars on an unofficial hope.

Doesnt have to mean anything. Gamestop is mining amazon for new stuff as much as amazon is mining gamestop for new stuff.
