I'm cool with no boarding animations and also with headshots. A faster paced game is just what I would have asked for in PS2.

Well we've found out in the last few days the kind of time-scale some skills will take to learn, and that the huge spaceship in the concept art will be represented in-game somehow, not to mention whatever I'm forgetting.

and , No you may no have an in game shot of the VS max. Marketing would try to put a hit out on me.
good, the idea that these ppl want you to waste time with some worthless animation when there are a ton of other things far more important to game development to be done is ridiculous,they don't add anything to the game except to slow down the action.

of all the things to worry about adding to the game, they pick exit/enter animations,who the hell cares about such silly crap that adds nothing to game play except to slow down the game while you watch yourself get out of a veh,WOW WHAT A THRILL!!

and how do boarding animations speed up game play exactly?

how does that fit into the "faster gameplay " argument?

lets slow everything down while i watch myself get out of the tank, that sure adds to faster gamepacing.

Measured in your response as always, Sgt. Perhaps the reason that vehicle boarding is among people's top concerns is a sign that SOE is mostly doing everything right so far in regards to PS2?

Though yes, a lot of people do consider the vehicle boarding animations to add some suspense.

I think people's main worry is in regards to people using getting on and getting off instantly to their advantage as can be done in the battlefield games (or so I hear).

Edit: Um, you just quoted someone who was not only advocating a lack of boarding animations, but is also slightly too banned to reply to you.
