Tbh, all the pretty pictures and gfx in the world wont make a bit of difference if you're effectively forcing people into a role and making them stick with it.

Yeah, looks nice.. So do plenty of other MMOs.

Running around with HA/AV/Med/Eng/Hacking is not a role.

I'm so sorry you're going to have to play with other people in an MMO to be effective this time around, but honestly, with the attitude you have you would be doing the community a huge favor if you just stopped being interested in this game and went away.

Let's try not to turn yet another thread into the same debate thats been hashed and rehashed over and over.

T-Ray, the artwork is looking incredible. It's hard to comprehend a game can look that pretty and have the scale you are talking about. It's looking better than my wildest dreams. It's hard to keep my expectations in check when everytime a screenshot gets released, it looks better and better.

did ya ever play PS?

I ran full platoons for over 4 years with guys certed up just like you said and we tore ppl up,certs don't preclude teamwork,its the player's attitude that dictates if they play with others or try the solo route

I never said you couldn't run with others, but you didn't need to. If I wasn't in a reaver I was running around with a jackhammer, phoenix, med tool, bank, cud, rek, plenty of ammo, and health packs. I never needed to rely on anyone but myself to do anything.

But that wasn't the point of my post. I was mainly just telling pointman to shut up or leave, because his attitude is shit.

I noticed in the shots that the TR with the repeater has heavier lower body armor, thigh and shin plates along with a toe guard thingy. The lone NC has similar leg armor upgrades. At that distance/resolution it's hard to tell for sure, but I don't think the NC has the toe guards.

I wonder if that's a cert unlock for this particular class, or a different class all together. Similar wonderings for the helmet.
