will we be able to redeem station cash in ps2?
there was a sale of double station cash we europeans didn´t dare to buy because nobody could tell us, if we would be able to use it, or if pro7 would set up an own account/shop system, locking the stationcash out.

I believe it was confirmed that Pro7 wont use Station Cash, but I guess the more important question is that will the station cash get converted into the Pro7 dollahs

I feel like I have to note that while I'm ecstatic that what appears to be a legitimate response from both sides of the region locking problem, I'm still looking forward to a full listing of those details related to us. Some of the questions I'd like to see answered are,

Will existing SOE EU accounts still be allowed to convert their Station Cash to PSS1 Cash as originally stated here? (FAQ)
Will SOE still be hosting and maintaining the PS2 Servers in the EU as originally stated in the same FAQ?
Will Free-to-Play players see more in-game advertisements? Will subscription-based players see in-game advertisements at all?
Will PSS1 remove accounts after 90 days of inactivity as was originally stated in the comments somewhere in the FAQ previously linked. (Please say no.)

Also that I perfectly understand that answers take time. I'm just glad that we actually have someone talking to us instead of just putting us off with a "details to follow" then going mum for 4 weeks.

Just a quick question: Do you guys still search for more guys for Planetside 2 related work? Asked the same about a month ago on the alaplaya forums, and did some research, but didnt go further as I was unsure how the deal would be altered after all the "feedback" (more like a nuclear bomb) of several communitys about the whole deal.

You people need to STOP thinking about Planetside when you think about lag. Planetsides Client side hit detection, movment prediction etc is AWFUL. Its what made the game possible at that time, couldnt have been any other way back then, but it was a awful solution.
Those problems from it wont appear in Planetside 2. You wont get that crazy warping, you wont get that crazy lag, but it wont be as bad.
You will still see a difference between someone with a ping of 50 and someone with a ping of 150, but its most likley that extremly small that it doesnt matter.

I'll believe this when I see it in action.
