Female NC Medic.

Both the small pix and the full size front and back pic is gone.

I wasnt able to save the full sized one, but I do have the small one.

Which is strange, since now that I know what to look for I can find in other locations.

Like this TR female.

For some reason the NC one appears to disappear.

Maybe she thinks she is a cloaker?

Once again, so talented - I couldn't imagine where to begin with something like this.

Amazing work indeed!

Amazing that all of that goes into making concepts.

+1 about the music fitting nicely

Is it me or do the developers seem to be getting a lot inspiration from Battlefield 3 rather than the original game planetside , i mean like look at the classes , there will be 6 different classes to choose from , in the original game planetside there was no such thing as classes like what there is in BF3 , get rid of them and keep the game original rather than changing what planetside is all about , i also think that you should have kept the sanctuaries as they we're good for recalling the players and gathering them together in preparation for a raid

How do you fund a development team? Money.
What generates money? Buyers.
What ensures a steady (and positive) flow of money? Lots of buyers.
How do you get buyers? Give them a product they want.
How do you give them a product they want? By giving them the things they can relate to, in an improved form.

Rinse and repeat for expansion packs etc.

It's pretty basic stuff really, in the end SOE wants market shares and alot of them - otherwise they wouldn't have released the funds to develop PS2 in the first place.

Saying "X and Y was alot better in PS1" is just stupid, in the end Planetside failed to grab the market shares it needed to stay afloat, hence it slowly died due to lack of funding (read my example above).

Geez, more NC weaponry. Why do the NC always get theirs first? I think the media release is a bit biased by someone whose name is Higby!

OT, looking good as always. Great to see how these guys think of this stuff and make it from nothing.

Great vid. Every time I watch one of these, I'm glad I changed my major instead of finishing my bachelor's in graphic design. No way I can compete with that!

what wrecked the original planetside was the BFRs and all the extra crap that got added in after , and there was no Advertising for planetside which didn't help , and of course when they combined the 3 servers that didn't help , do you remember a website called planetsidestats.net ? sony did not help rev with that website neither , which i thought was an awesome website and i just hope we get a website similar rather than the stat tracking you get on BF3 which i think is a total joke

All the things you mention as "what wrecked it" are actually directly related to lack of funding. The game was in a downward spiral after year one, that's a known fact. Content added later in the process had little to no effect since it was already way out of budget.

You think they merged servers because they had too many players on all of them and that they had to ensure everyone had to wait in queue for two hours?

Stat tracking in PS2 is going to be ripped straight from the Battlefield stat tracking concept, like it or not.

You should just go ahead and ignore Gump. All of his posts are so overly negative and troll-istic (hell yeah I made that up). He has so much hate towards PS2 and he hasn't even played it yet. Go view his past posts, they're all hate-filled with comparisons to BF3/CoD and then stating how PS1 was the epitome of gaming.
