Here's what I want to know. Regardless what the capture point indicators look like, will we receive a 3D waypoint indicator with rangefinder for squad orders? And can squad leaders issue multi-waypoint move orders?
And MOST importantly, will squad leaders be able to issue orders to go to places OTHER than capture points? BF3 REALLY ruined squad functions because you can only order your squad to go to a flag. If you see a sniper nest somewhere and want to order your squad to go clear it out? Too bad, you can't. Would hate to see that for PS2. Last edited by Stardouser; 2012-04-15 at 04:49 PM. |

You need the floating letters to direct people quickly and efficiently to the appropriate control point. Having a toggle to turn it off is an easy UI solution for the people that have issue with it. |

I'm with you there. I hate UI clutter on the game world
Unlike modern FPS kiddies, I have a brain that can memorize environments and deduce the location of specific objectives and the most efficient route instantly. Just give me timers above/below my minimap |

It'd be cool if you could like mark objectives for your squad as a recon; makes sure everyone 100% knows where they are, helps people who are new, and gives recons a new thing to do.
Plus, I wouldn't always have floating letters on my screen. |
