Quite nice.
I disagree with those claiming the middle rectangular display area blocks too much ground view; IMO, this is/could be a conscious game design decision to limit the view of the ground in order to force air to ground aircraft into specific types of flight patterns to have a good situational awareness of what's going on on the ground. If that's the case, it's a distinct balance point and will probably dovetail with weaponry on both sides of the air/ground war to promote certain behaviors and balances. And that's a good thing, and not necessarily worth trifling with in order to "give me more viewable space." I also like the look of the Biolab dome. Looks like they went with one of the translucent designs that lets you see the structure within; that was my biggest factor in my preferences when the multiple designs were shown. |

If that rectangular cockpit piece in the center stays I want to see it used for something, like...
- vehicle health / status - ammo status - countermeasures/afterburner status. It's the perfect spot for that sort of information and it looks like it was meant to have something there. |

I love it!
The only piece of (constructive) criticism I can find is that the red instrumentation is far too bright. But that's probably just because it's still a WIP. I wonder if we'll be able to customize our cockpits at all, maybe a pair of fuzzy dice? |
