So ribbed cockpits for vanu pleasure?

Take the F-35 for example

If you were to tint the glass darker you wouldn't even be able to see the rib.
But that's to frame and brace the canopy of this clearly obsolete aircraft
The Scythe's canopy is made of a one-way see-through crystalline auraxium lattice that simply dissolves to allow entry/egress. It reforms as needed with no moving parts involved

Sidebars are fine as long as they only block the default FOV. If they don't allow you to look around properly, though, then you need to reconcider the design. BF3 for instance sucks hard when it comes to looking around in a russian chopper that basically has 20% of the view angles blocked by the stupid railings.

Am I the only one that noticed the new Bio Lab dome behind the TR's weak-ass plane?

I too find it amazing that real world Vehicles would have different designs.

No. It's gotten like half a dozen mentions in the other two threads, at least.

Wait, you're complaining about sidebars ?

Those won't prevent me from kicking your ass with my mosquito, y'know.

It's going to be pretty cool/interesting if you can look around inside your cockpit while flying, although the controls might be more difficult.

And I find it amazing that in real life you can change the viewpoint by moving your torso alongside with your head, while in games you can't. Definitely realistic just as the difference in vehicle designs.

Without any sarcasm, though, - realism versus balance is a very important problem. Due to physics and game mechanic restrictions you simply CAN'T have some realistic details without hurting the gameplay. My favorite example is the real world bullets' lethality compared to gameworld bullets' lethality. Not to mention the respawn.

About this the only thing i can say is Keep playing Ps1 then Because Ps2 will be advanced and modern FPS mechanics base ! And also will be far superior in scales and graphics and also the gameplay will be compleatly different !

but the factions wars stay , the NC tr and vs distincs look stay but go even beyond thats they are even more specifics !

And vehicules are going to fit the new gameplay mechanics !

For me it remain planetside and its pretty good like it is rigth now then for me Iam i love with planetside 2 ! And ps1 was a good game years and years ago but i cant stand anymore the graphics and old gameplay its like iam not the kind of guys who play cs1.6 and quake in 2012! I prefere new games mechanics over old ones !
