Man, that thing makes the towers we have in PS1 look like a bunch of run-down outhouses.

Incredible.

Would it be possible to make it so that the main targeting crosshairs appear to be projected onto the inside of the cockpit? Make them a physical part of the interior, instead of overlaying them.

Or something like this.

It just seems a little disjointed, having these lovely 3D interiors, and then slapping a non-physical GUI over them.

Great work none the less. Can't wait to see the Scythe!

That HUD built into your helmet doesn't go away when you climb inside something. Seems perfectly reasonable it would just interface with your helmet.

Still not caring for the framing, though this is a touch better than the mossie cockpit. Doesn't look like it blocks your vision as much.

They should definitely post the night pictures. Looks even better at night IMO.

Well yeah, that did cross my mind as I typed that last post out. Modern aircraft do have HUD elements that are projected onto the pilot's visor... What you're not considering though is that all aircraft with some form of fixed armament need to have a static cross hair. A cross hair that tracks the position of your head would only be viable if the cannon is capable of unrestricted movement. I believe this is how gunships function.

I digress massively, though

If this is indeed the intended design it needs to be made believable, and what I mean by that is that the targeting interface should remain in the middle of your screen as you mouselook around the cockpit. Who knows, maybe it already does.
