But my guess is they will want all attention focused on the tri-faction, epic-looking AAA mutha.

I bet all you guys need some sleep and rest. Except Higby. He always looks charged and energetic and talks REAL fast when explaining Planetside. Like he wants to get back to work and play it and will mow down anything between him and the game.

My hope is that they live demo really comes through and gets put up on massive screens for everyone to see (no pressure guys) I'm convinced that anyone who sees what planetside can do, without even knowing any other specifics, will be curious and intrigued, at least to ask the guy next to them "What IS that?" Like the airstrike trailer we saw recently, Planetside is at its best when it simply shows things people never expect to see in a game. I'd love to see a massive tank battle, or an infantry charge. Something that really flexes the games muscles and gets everyone's attention.
On top of that, I'd really like to see more information on the strategic/logistical side of the game in interviews and such: resources, capture points, etc. Even if its not really complete, I really just want to get an idea on how the devs are really trying to get beyond base fights. I really wish I could be there, but alas... |
