I played it and I am outside the company as well but I had to go to San Diego to do it. I think RadarX is talking official external beta testers..

I agree - PS2 twitter is referring to handing out keys. I assume to journos for now?

Something tells me there's going to be something of a shitstorm once beta starts, and not every veteran or person who bought a PC Gamer gets in on the first wave.

That's true, but it does imply the journos will be on the beta server, hopefully.

One guy even said he was in Iceland, at his computer. Some journo's, but regular people too.

S'kind of a slap in the face that random shmucks get beta keys before veterans, but i guess we should be used to SOE screwing it's customers over by now.
