I don't think you understand how much some of us would love to get a chance to do that much

And I have no delusions about beta. I intend to test whatever they tell me to test. But I'm excited as hell to see any footage at all from Planetside 2, so just being in game in some capacity, no matter how limited or full of beta bugs, would be fantastic.

Edit: Also, yes, vets really have no right to complain. The fact that they intend to get all vets in earlier than some non vet testers will be able to get in is pretty awesome, but it's not something we should feel entitled to. Let them do what they need to do to make the damn game.

So true. So many people these days are suffering from PMS (Poor me syndrome). Why does anyone think they deserve anything ? Just sit back and wait for the invite and stop with all the QQ crap. And whats with all this "I wanna play now" crap. Beta isn't to play the game,its to test the game. WTF is up with these people ? Take a chill pill. Damn.

It not a since of entitlement. It's the fact that those that bought a key or got one in another way were promised to be priority in the game first. It doesn't matter what your opinion is when something else was promised and not given.
But I guess it's not beta so who cares?

Priority means into the beta not the technical test. This is a test to see what hardware works well with the game, it's not necessarily about finding and reporting bugs.

We don't even know the ratio of vet, pc gamer, twitter or w/e method people used to get in. Impossible to figure out at this point.

This unfortunately is a little inaccurate and based on the assumptions that none of those folks got in. As I've been saying for some time not everyone can get in at once. It just isnt possible. This will be moot soon enough I assure you.

I think everyone is just frustrated that they keep telling us that it's going to be "soon" and yet we've all been waiting for a long time and will have to continue to do more waiting.
