PAX Prime 2012 & PS2 Merchandise

So, we're going to be selling some merchandise at PAX Prime this year. We'll be selling the Empire Dog Tags, and we'll also have the Deluxe Empire Tshirts. They will be for sale, cash only. Luckily, there are many ATMs in the Seattle Convention Center. If you haven't seen the deluxe t-shirts, here's a photo:

If you buy a T-shirt, you'll get the matching dog tag thrown in for free. We're not making hardly any profit at all, after cost/tax/shipping them to Washington. We have some ideas, but we're happy for feedback. I don't have a price set in stone, but it's comparable to the prices of t-shirts online.

I know that many of you cannot attend PAX, but if you're in Seattle you can attend the Curse Party, where we will have PlanetSide 2 stations and all. I am unsure if we will be able sell these at the party.

As an aside, I am seeing if I can get some of the PS2-themed Adidas shoes to give away at the booth (one pair per day) or on the Facebook Page in a giveaway.

Here's a picture of the shoes we'd be giving away. Again, not guaranteed we'll have this available as a prize, but I have asked for it.

Is there any chance you will start selling these things online in the near future or after the release?
I'd die to get my hands on some apparels, but I'm living back in Scandinavia

Here's a thought:

Have you thought about doing empire lanyards? I'd certainly buy one of those! Well, I would if I were going to PAX, but I'd buy one of a webshop if there were one. The current one I have for work is pants.

Yep! I'm not sure the plans of the team, but yes, we are planning on having an online shop down the road.

1. Don't know yet. I haven't been in the planning meetings about /what/ kinds of merchandise will be in the store. You can certainly give me suggestions to pass on.

2. The shoes are available right now. Basically, you can go to Adidas and build your own custom shoe. These aren't exclusive to us nor are we selling them. So far, we've only given them out to contest winners and such.

You should watch the PS2 Facebook page. I've been giving away 10 dog tags a week for 2 months.

Wow £90 that's a costly shoe, would SOE do a deal with Adidas to put them in the merchandise shop at a cheaper price :P

Oh well, I''ll provably fork out $100 or so if someone decides to sell them on Ebay

I hope you guys sell tons of that stuff, but those shirts are a bit over the top for my taste. Any chance of seeing anything a little more conservative like maybe a hoodie with a empire logo on the chest, or a collared shirt with a small empire logo where the little alligator would normally live?
