Wait until SOE tracks down the issues.

They have done broadcastings in game telling us all they are working hard to fix this ASAP. So they are highly aware of the problem.

Thank goodness for that, gone from 40 fps to 15, fecking unplayable. Why am I not surprised at this?

Anyone tried default settings the restarting game? In Beta the go was to delete your UserOptions.ini file at every patch.

Some people are reporting it's helping to do this, and I do recommend the "UserOptions.ini flush program" once in a while. The best way to do this is rename your old UserOptions.ini and then let the game generate a new one for you. Then you can compare what might have changed and copy over anything you feel necessary.

We haven't seen this be a "fix" for some of the lower FPS issues, but YMMV.

My fps was fine prior to this patch, rarely if ever dipping below 20fps. As of today, I get wild cycles of fps fluctuations between 40fps dipping down to 10fps then back up again. This is happening without movement. It seems to be worse inside of a vehicle. I've tried multiple changes to all the graphics settings and it didn't seem to have any appreciable difference. There's clearly something else going on behind the scenes.

The game is more or less unplayable for me after this patch. I was at West Highlands Crossing pretty much on my own. Looking away from Allatum, 50fps. Looking toward Allatum it was a slide show.

I'm super patient and I know you guys will get this worked out. Just hurry up cause I needs me fix.

Exactly the same, but you need an appreciable size of enemy for it to start happening, been fighting a squad of TR on Amerish just me and someone else, and no issues.

As soon as I start wanting to fight anythign larger than a platoon, I get wild FPS fluctuations 70->15->70->20, etc.... this gives the game the look of stuttering when in fact its FPS changing wildly.

I already deleted the UserOptions.ini and let game create a new one, same thing happening.

Taking a wild stab in the dark, but the Render according to threat or whatever "changes" taht was done there is probably causing this (hence why it happens when there's loads of people and game tries to work out lots of things)

Hello ThundaHawk, fancy meeting you here. (watch your step, flyguy) Yeah I'll be trying the patch tonight. Curious if I'll see improved FPS as some ppl have seen better FPS with lower end cards.

I should have mentioned, I did delete the useroptions file. I also pushed the rendering all the way down to 1000 and it didn't make any difference. Even at the lowest settings the fluctuations are still there.

You're not the first person to mistake me for Thundahawk and I am guessing you wont be the last

I am and always have been (since 2003 - Werner) ThunderHawk.

But hello anyway.

I'm not that sure about it, but it seems to me, that this mainly affects NVIDIA users, since a lot of my friends with AMD/ATI cards are telling that they have experienced an improvement after the patch.

Nope unfortunately.

I have AMD/ATI and am suffering bad with these exact same symptoms.

Haven't even dared to try fly an ESF as it's so much worse in vehicles
