Wow hossin is awesome, and for some of you guys who had characters made already on test, make a new one. They now give 100000 certs to boot, were the old one had 10000 to start with. Hossin looks awwwesome, its all buggy and stuff, but I love it

If we were to measure it with Indar for instance, I'm sure it would come close to its size, maybe not exactly but close. |

only spent 3h in there so my opinion is still a WIP:
It's a pain to move around in vehicles as wel as it is for aircraft to do A2G, apart from bases. It has a few nice base designs. One thing I think will be fun there is galaxy dropping. With travel time as it is, and A2G limited: I bet galaxies will be hot transport on hossin. Oh yea, and instant death water! Devs = please add underwater ala Tribes2: where you could fly your shrike underwater to come up the other side of a lake or navigate underwater channels at high speed. I was able to ask Matt some questions about Hossin that are somewhat irrelevant now since everyone can see it
But I asked him if they applied everything they learned from the Indar redesign and the Esamir redesign and he said they went back and retooled it numerous times before releasing what you are seeing now. Additionally it looks like they are going to do a "phased release" of the continent to get feedback along the way before full release. I was able to observer cam around it a bit the day it released and I must say it was extremely impressive. It's not vehicle friendly overall, but vehicles will still have a role. I cannot wait to play Infiltrator on this map. |

Sadly not, it was hard to collect information during the panels as they were all over the place. I may do a bit of a brain dump later today.

Here's some fun facts for ya regarding facility names.
Facility names are from the previous Planetside map with a few additions. The names for this continent were all themed around Incan/Mayan mythology. Key facts of each name are given (for those who care). Acan
Bitol
Chac
Hurakan
Ixtab
Ghanan
Mulac
Naum
Voltan

Think I'll be steering clear of Ixtab from now on, thank you very much. Anyone want to join me at Acan? Heard they're having a happy hour later on. Not sure about Chac though... Well, maybe after a few at Acan's.
