New patch FLB's + other stuff

http://boards.station.sony.com/ubb/p...ML/018287.html

We are releasing a patch shortly that will include the following items:

1) Facility Link Benefits have been implemented. There is more information on these benefits in our online manual.
2) The Enemy Density Warning System has been implemented. When a large number of enemy units invades a facility's SOI, all friendly troops on the continent will receive a message alerting them to the buildup.
3) Vehicle access will no longer be reverted to Empire-wide access when an owner is killed.
4) Fixed a bug where players would be invisible for several seconds after they respawn. This also fixes the issues that caused a delay in accessing equipment terminals after respawning and vehicles trunks after getting out of them.
5) Changed Decimator's secondary mode rate of fire to match primary mode.
6) Certain Framerate optimizations were made for higher end machines. Lower end machines will also notice some improvement.

Servers will need to come down briefly for this update. We will try to keep the downtime as short as possible. Players are currently being notified to finish any captures they have in progress and log out.

Woot
2) The Enemy Density Warning System has been implemented. When a large number of enemy units invades a facility's SOI, all friendly troops on the continent will receive a message alerting them to the buildup.
Hmm...this could be good or bad. I guess it depends on what they define "large" as.
3) Vehicle access will no longer be reverted to Empire-wide access when an owner is killed.
Thank fucking god!
4) Fixed a bug where players would be invisible for several seconds after they respawn. This also fixes the issues that caused a delay in accessing equipment terminals after respawning and vehicles trunks after getting out of them.
Cool if it works
5) Changed Decimator's secondary mode rate of fire to match primary mode.
See comment on #3. I was starting to get sick of rapid fire Decis blowing my Lightning to hell
6) Certain Framerate optimizations were made for higher end machines. Lower end machines will also notice some improvement.
Cool for people with good computers

Can any infil tell me if the FLB are hurting the cloakers too bad? Reading about the radar enhancements that come with capturing an Interlink Facility make it sound pretty crippling for anybody who spends a lot of time as an infil and I won't get a chance to test it out for a little while.

They also added the ability to not use boomers, anywhere. Isn't that nice? Thank you SOE

Yeah my magrider seems to bob up and down. Before it didn't seem to do that, but maybe just the framerate change made it look like that. Also my gunner said it was alittle more jerky then normal. So hopefully if the patch messed this up they'll fix it.

I haven't checked to see if I can still place boomers or not, I'll probably check that out today.

WildEagle...I just went onto Werner and tried using a Boomer. It worked no problem.

What are you seeing happening? I can lay it down, get the switch in hand, and detonate it easily, just like always.
