Steam 12 GB + Patches 8 GB

/begin of rant

If you download game from Steam 12 GB be ready to download 8GB patches after that. And patch size is increasing every week.

I delete game after every weekend session and now it is getting really annoying to download 20 GB when it could have been only 12GB.

Plus in Steam you could pause download or limit download speed in order to keep my home internet connection for other family members.

But 8GB patches are downloaded at full available speed using whole internet bandwidth. And you cannot even pause it!!! I hate it!

SOE, please patch the game in Steam so that I should NOT download 8GB patches all the time!!!

Fighting with game addiction. If I don't uninstall I cannot stop playing games. Works very well for me.

Why start the game through Steam anyway? Simply create a shortcut in Steam and save yourself the hassle.

Why do you have it on Steam? Steam is redundant in this case. Steam is there to sell digital games and to make sure your hard copy is legit.

Since I re-install game every weekend it is easier for me to play through Steam

How do you download otherwise? I have 10Mb connection and Steam helps me to limit downloading speed so that I do not use whole connection speed while downloading. Very handy.

Nope, 8 hours a week is my maximum gaming time nowdays. Even when Hossin hits.

and even 8 hours is a bit to much in my opinion. Need to reduce it but do not know how
