Hacking

Hi

ive never moaned or complained about any one hacking in any game ive played in over 10 years, thats just not my style, but i have to now.

Tonight playing on miller i came up against a player called leroy he is 100% cheating he is using some kind of wall hack. he can defo see through walls.

I dont have screen shot or video so im sure most people will call bullshit and say prove it, and yes i have reported him which is pointless.

Im just making this thread to let people know, and yes we all know there are a lot of cheaters out there but this fella doesnt try and hide it its so obvious.

Its now starting to ruin my experience of ps2.

The only real valid hackusation you can provide is a speedhack, noclip, or flying accusation.

And even in these situations there's no guarantee you're not just trying to caluminate a guy, because of personal reasons. That's why "/order XXX is hacking, report" are usually not taken seriously, that's easy to understand.

Get your facts straight please, Sith...
Aimbotting is also easy to prove as long as the accused is caught on video "Snapping" between targets amid-FullAuto fire.

But yes, making threads with names and no proof is pointless, please don't do it, learn to Record video. It's the only thing SOE will investigate as a priority as they've --> finally admitted to on their official forums. <--

Have you ever seen pros play counter-strike? They can outtwitch an aimbot actually with the reaction speed they have.

I assure you, it is more than just possible. I was there in that auditorium, watching some CS 1.6 asus finals (I think it was CMAX.gg vs Virtus.Pro). Almost every kill was 1shot headshot. No sprays, nothing. Just one bullet to the head, one down. Every known wall that could be shot through was shot through, and many people died to that, also.

And that was LAN with duplicated live feed for every player's monitor.

If I saw that outside that auditorium without knowing who those 10 people were I would be 100% sure it's wallhack and aimbot.

Re: Hacking

I just checked out his stats, if he's hacking, he's a pretty terrible hacker. Average headshot ratio, and a 3.71 K/D Ratio.

The hackers I've encountered and looked up had 10-1, 20-1 and even 30-1 K/D

Not saying he is or isn't hacking, just saying that his kill rate isn't godlike or anything

And? I've followed pro cs for a decade. It's still not possible to "outtwitch an aimbot."

That's like saying you can never ever beat a computer at chess.
Maby not the one they put up against Gary Kasparov in -97, but I beat computers at chess quite frequently.

So, it depends on the aimbot and the player put up against it, doesn't it?

Aimbots completely remove any human reaction time from the equation. The second someone is within line of sight, they can move your crosshair to their head and shoot with no delay at all. Yes i'm sure a human can react with precision faster than 0.0000001ms. Tell me more.

An aimbot can move faster then the human eye can detect. While some pro players have incredible reaction times, i highly doubt they can out twitch something that will know when the enemy can be seen before it even registers for the human.

First and foremost - I am gonna take a defensive stance here, despite the fact I shouldn't - Counter-Strike is hitscan, definitely it is rather impossible to outtwitch an aimbot there. Read below the second reply.

Second - you're entitled to believe in what you want. Maybe you're coming from the perspective that "you cannot constatly outtwitch an aimbot", in that case - sure, that is true. However once in a while - it is possible, 1 on 1. However if you say that, based on the your opinion (opinion only, since you never saw a pro player team competing against a team of hackers, I assure you, thus not "knowledge"), let's agree to disagree.

Not always. Why? Because every aimbot suffers from the same thing human does - choke/loss/ping.

Plus - aimbot can move your mouse, sure. Aimbot (a typical one) however DOES NOT make your bullets hitscan in hitscanless games. Thus non-hitscan multiplayer games usually have way less hackusations rolling. Just for comparison - take CS 1.6 and APB for example and match it against, say PS1 or BF3.

Re: Hacking

Aimbotting aside, the most recent trend is people getting speed hacks in galaxies and just going about ramming everything more than 10 feet in the air.
Incredibly frustrating.

the fact that the bullets in ps2 have a placebo travel time that no human will ever actually notice means that you can somehow beat hackers 1v1 despite the fact that you will still be reacting slower than they are because they're a goddamn computer and you won't land 4 headshots immediately with no spread like they do

outtwitch an aimbot is still the best thing ever said
