A sudden bizzare spike in the NC population

Jeez what is with the huge sudden spike in the NC population? I've never seen so many NC before...and I am seeing a LOT of new players too and it's not just Woodman it's other servers too.

It used to be TR that was this popular but suddenly it's NC? Jeez...so what is with this sudden high population? Any theories you guys have?

I dunno I just find it slightly less fun when your faction is suddenly overpopulated and you're gaining territory a bit easier due to overwhelming numbers. Yesterday we had so many numbers we surrounded the TR warpgate on Amerish and they could barely even get out. Same goes for Vanu.

Possible reasons:
#1 New big patch
#2 Double XP
#3 Other servers being overcrowded since they have bigger population then Woodman
#4 Marketing (?)

I think its just because people have started to come back to the game, I watched a angry joe show review from a while back and as I was watching it I kept saying "but they have changed that, and that but they fixed that, AND that" so. I just think people are comeing back to the church of blood and war ^.^

I think its VS jumping ship, VS pop so low now people are stopping playing because it isnt enjoyable with a large pop imbalance therefore making it worse.

I wish this had continued =( sadly while people might try out NC for a while they all quickly realise the NC have no good guns while the VS have godly guns so they switch back. And who can resist a tank which side steps shots and rockets while jumping over walls into bases?
