PSU: The only good sound I've heard from a bagpipe is it being shot.

So me and my friends where thinking that even though Planet Side 2 is an amazing game there are somethings amiss.
so we started making a list and at the top where Rag-doll effects. Of course the effect would have to be allowed to turn off for those of us that don't have good enough CPUs to handle the work. But for those that have the ability I think it would be quite rewarding to see your dead foes fly through the air as a tank shell goes off right next to them. the thought I had was that the effect should take place when you die and the force of the impact that killed you would propel you with the same momentum but slowing down with weight and that, which would be cool for Max suit shotguns because at close range your enemies would go flying into the wall across from you. Also Air to Ground missiles would make people go flying left and right. In my head it looks cool but i don't know how well it would actually work. Last edited by USdude; 2013-10-28 at 09:58 PM. |

You can't have some people with and some people without. How do you determine the location the medic goes for revives? On that note if your body gets blasted onto a roof etc. that makes a medics jobs hard or near impossible. Lastly the game already has issues with performance, this would make it worse.
Yeah cool idea, not so simple in practice. Pretty sure there was a lengthy discussion on it a few months back. |
