Planetside 2 Newcomers Article

Being an old Planetside player myself, i am sure i don't have to explain to you how excited i am for PS2. So in an effort to draw more attention to PS2 i wrote up an article to familiarize those people who have never played the original. I have just begun writing about PC games and have just recently received my own writers column. I invite you to check out my Planetside 2 Overview on Gamer's Vox!! More articles are to come!! well written indeed!

a small thing you should change:

there will be different types of cloakers and the sniper will not be completely invisible, while the mostly unarmed recon cloaker will be able to totally cloak. so the power of the cloak will scale to the weapon you are using.

reading of snipers that can totally cloak could turn off a lot of players we had some passionate discussions about this here

Yea maybe, I could read it without difficulty some it was just on the edge.

It is lower contrast than PSU.

Thx Shogun!! You make a good point about the cloaking sniper, i had already planned on going into more detail about classes/vehicles/weapons etc. in future articles. This article was more of a generalized introduction to the game for those who aren't familiar with the Planetside universe. But i will talk with my editor to see about changing the way it is worded in the article. Thx for noticing that little detail!!!

EDIT: Also i'll mention the black on grey thing.

UPDATE: We brightened up the text so it adds a bit more contrast and also reworded the Infiltrator description so that there is a bit more distinction from the sniper vs the cloaker.

good read. im not a planetside vet but reading that makes me wish i was. im looking forward to being part of the planetside universe with the release of planetside 2.

Thank you!! That's exactly what i was going for. My goal is to help gamers get excited about PS2. Just remembering all the great times i had (and am still having ) in Planetside, gives me a small taste of what i am expecting from PS2.
