It's not recognized by any other country and England insists that it belongs to them still(It's not in international waters, England extened it's waters to 12 nautical miles a while back according to some treaty). There is also no way in hell they will ever raise the money.
I'm calling biggest scam ever.

No one recognized it as a state before(or after) the territory was extended. So when it was extened Sealand was taken with it, according to the technicalities.
Also: the UK navy technicaly still owns the ship Sealand is on, and her majesty's crown technicaly owns the land the ship rests on and can have it removed whenever. The most important thing is that no country worth anything is going to object if the UK raids TPB's servers. And if they try to defend it, very few people that matter will take issue with the UK blowing them up.

Wtf is it even, I was thinking it was going to be an actual island or something, its 2 fucking pillars supporting half a football field. Thats gay so Im gonna hope this is all a joke. Theres MUCH bigger islands(actual islands mind you) that are for sale for like 2-20 million which would be alot more realistic. These people had to be doing this as a joke/scam

Fascinating to see criminals attempting to legitimize their theft in such a manner. I hope in this case, England (or hell, hold on for it, the UN) can find some small insect, or critter that is "endangered" and claim control and deny these criminals a place to operate outside the control of law.
