The THC or Terran High Command was a well known outfit on Emerald during the early years of Planetside 1. We were with the Terran Republic, obviously, and were one of the best organized outfits the Terrans had at the time. The leading members of the outfit left PS1 sometime after that first year and the outfit closed down. With Planetside 2 nearing beta it only seemed right to reform the outfit.
I'm planning to lead the new THC myself, though I was not the leader of the original outfit. If any of the leadership of the original THC are planning to play PS2 and want to be a part of this I'll gladly give them their old positions (I'll even give up leadership of the outfit if the leader shows up). So THC vets, if you're interested in joining up contact me here (but no funny business! My memory is excellent and I'll know if you are the real deal).

www.terranhighcommand.enjin.com. At the moment I plan to use PS2's built-in VoIP service, though if it proves inadequate we will setup our own external VoIP server.
The goal of the original THC was to provide players with a mature and fun gaming experience. We want people to have fun playing with us but also to be able to take the game seriously and work together to accomplish our goals. We will have a command structure and when running with the outfit members are expected to follow the orders of whomever is running the operation. The leaders of the PS1 outfit had real-world military experience and used some of that knowledge in commanding the outfit (I lack that experience but hope to recruit some folks who can provide that perspective).
We prefer to recruit members who are 18 years old or older, but exceptions can be made for players who demonstrate maturity (I was only 15 when I joined the original outfit, so it can happen). Players will be required to at least be able to listen to voice chat, but having a microphone as well is preferred. The THC will be a primarily American outfit, but players from other countries who wish to join us will not be turned away for reason of their nationality. However, most of our players will probably not be online during the peak gaming hours of those in European or Asian countries. Being able to speak English will be necessary for participating in outfit activities (I don't intend to discriminate, but as I speak only English it will be difficult for anyone who doesn't understand English to really participate).

The THC is not interested in becoming a subsidiary of any other outfit. We will be an independently operated outfit. Please do not contact me with offers to let my outfit become a part of your outfit. We are open to joining any network of outfits that wants to cooperate for large scale operations, however.
