Most of the time the people who lost accounts did so because of their own stupidity.
sharing account name and password either to friends or to someone paid to power level your character
downloading cheats and hacks or supposed cheats and hacks
downloading questionable UI's
disabling or not even having a decent anti-virus installed

speaking of this account stealing crap, I dont even play the damn game and I get emails from "[email protected]" "WoW Password Recovery" sad part is it almost looks legit the site they send you if youre not careful
