So, basically, this is a free-to-play para-MMO game set in the original, not Ultimate, Marvel Universe. The format is that of an RPG with "above view", skills and mouse controls, with keyboard controls being a supplement. The game is being developed by David Brevik, one of the project leads on Diablo and Diablo 2.
Suffice to say the game was on my radar for a while, and from what I can tell from all the vids - feels like Diablo 2 with better graphics, gameplay mechanics and superheroes. If you played Marvel Ultimate Alliance, at first the new game may resemble it very much, but then you watch this video and get the idea:
