TR are the future Microsoft - the elder, the dominant, the inventors, the totalitarian.
NC are the future Google - smarter, younger, taking on the big. The new entrepeneur nerds.
VC are the future Apple - strange but powerful, semi-religious. Think different.

Seems obvious, doesn't it?

Ewww. I don't wanna be Apple. I laughed at the semi-religious bit, though. It does kind of make sense, too.

I became TR after only 2-3 minutes of installing/reading PS1 back then. There wasn't such a "lore" back then (called "s-word" by hardcore id fans as myself), but the TR - it felt like me.
It wasn't for many years later, when Google and Apple rose, someone talked about a tech WW3 between them. My thoughts went to PS1, and here we are now.
