The dawn was rising over a new day, a day of Hope, a day of Freedom. Freedom has it's price, a debt placed on those who long for it. My squad did. We gave our all. This is the log of us, those who tried to make the world a better place for all.
Log day 1.1: We rolled out at dawn in our Galaxy, and began our long patrol around the continent. No word of any enemy patrols. At midday, we were to restock and begin our assault of a small Terran base, our first big assignment in months. Good way to flex our muscles. I'll report again after the attack.
Log day 1.2: Attack went well. Lured the Terran patrols away from base in a Harasser, the rest of my squad took out the skeleton defense. I guess the base wasn't that important to them. It's out of the way and hard to resupply. The squad performed well under pressure. Every plan went off without complications. However, NC command reports increased Vanu activity on the other side of the continent. We may be selected to patrol in that area soon. Hope everything goes well. We fight for what we believe in, and that's what we're here for. Nf(H)Ma out.
Log day 2.1: Normal day for patrols. Nobody's brave enough to attack this continent. In a few more days, we'll drive the Terrans off, and have a full continent lock, a boost to morale for the entire fledgling group. The increased Vanu presence is a concern, especially on the western side of the continent. However, today's recent victory against a small invasion force puts to rest some concerns. The morale here is better than many other NC forces. I'll take my squad out for some rifle training and combat maneuvers. Hopefully, I can find another squad to practice with. I'll report in after training.
Log day 2.2: After a grueling day of practicing, I believe we've made progress in our skills. Certainly, we could use some work. Not much new. Nf(H)Ma out.
