Hey All,
Im trying to plan out my gpu upgrade, my 4850 is really showing it's age. I was leaning towards the 7850 or 7950 (depending on a last minute budget decision) until I found out about physx in PS2. Does anyone have any in game experience with the 7850, 7950, GTX 660 TI, or equivalent 200$-300$ cards? What were your opinions on the performance? Is the lack of physx in the ATI cards really going to hold back the experience? The ATI cards seem to really provide better performance for their price, but physx throws a wrench in the whole thing. I think that Higby addressed the Nvidia vs ATI PhysX question like this: PhysX related operations will run slightly faster on Nvidia cards, but the effects will look the same on both makes.
I heard that back before beta started though, not sure if anything has changed. |

I play on a GTX670, with PhysX off. From what I have seen from games using PhysX is that its a bit more eyecandy but doesn't really add to the impressiveness of the game. I keep it disabled so I can stay as far above 30fps as possible, and any of these cards will do the job just fine.
