Why? well who really uses nanoweave now it doesn't work on head shots? it lets you survive a couple of shots which is almost nothing in times of TTK while flak will let you survive the HUGE amount of constant explosions, to my mind theres just no competition right now in which 1 to use if you want to chose a suit skill to help you survive.
Think about it, theres never ending tanks, air, greandes, traps (c4, claymores, betties) so you will be constantly hit with explosions, nanoweave though..lets yo u live maybe 0.5s longer, a almost unnoticeable amount of time. |

Well, I personally agree with the decision to remove headshot protection, because that was the main reason I never really bothered with headshots when I was starting out. Flak armor really is OP right now, but then again so are tanks and aircraft.
If they just consolidated the two suit slots into one (Advanced Shield Batteries?) that would simply increase the size of your shields, its not a guessing game about how many shots it would take to down someone or if your C4 is enough to kill them, you just keep in mind that overall you will have to do more damage than normal against some targets. Also, a visual cue telling players with or w/o ASB would be nice (maybe glistening shields or something). |
