Go ahead and open up a new document. Type in "April 19th, 1966.", and once it's underlined, click the (i) button that will appear if you mouse-over the date.

You can set a meeting for that date.

Microsoft Word does have its flaws. For instance, that little paper clip (I LOVE THAT LITTLE GUY!). He's useless and he just won't take a hint and shut up and go away. I've seen edit's of it were he says "I see you are writing a letter, would you like me to: -fuck it up for you -shut up and fuck off
