So I've been house hunting a few months now and I'm really stuck on location. To break it down I have the option with my job location to be in a city, in suburbia, or out in the country. I don't have kids, so I've ruled out suburbia because why live near people but not near all the places in the city you want to go? So it's basically between in the city, probably a newer townhouse w/ garage, or a bit farther out in the country in an older home with ~2-3 acres. (I live in the MD/PA/DE area) Downside of that is having to take care of 2-3 acres of land. How is it they do this, #1stworldproblems?
Wondering what you guys prefer as far as living location and why. |

What city are you exactly considering moving to? There is a big difference between say a city of 150,000 and going to live in NYC.
